We just got a new baby, his name is Odin. To be honest I was one of those people who believed that crap about Pitbulls. My mother in law had a pit mix named Ollie and he was the sweetest dog I have even known. So now we are an owner and Odin is such a loving, carefree, SMART, kissable, hugable little bundle of a Pitbull. He has 3 sisters 1 a dog and 1 cat brother. They are getting used to him quite quickly. I think their getting used to us bring new family members home, we have a house full. But would not want it any other way. Thanks for this site and I am ashamed that I ever felt the way I did.
7/24/07 Update
Well "Odo" his nick name. Is the most mellow, tame, lovable, and smart pitbull ever. He is so loved and he loves us right back. He is one of the best dogs I have ever had. He loves little kids, he gives them puppy kisses. They are just his size. We sure are lucky to have him.
1130/07 Update
Odin is one the best if not the best dog I have ever owned. He still sits in my lap and LOVES IT...... he loves to play with other dogs. My 15 year old now is taking him with him when he goes on his skate board. Odin pulls Luke on his board and thinks it the thing in the world. He tries to love our cats but they have their own thing going on. All though we did get a new kitten and they get along just great.
